Wednesday Season 2: Plot
Currently, the plotline of the upcoming season of Wednesday is still kept under the wraps. However, we know that the plot begins after throwing live piranhas into the school pool to avenge her brother Pugsley’s mistreatment by the boys’ water polo team, Wednesday Addams is expelled from her school. As a result, her parents Gomez and Morticia Addams enroll her in Nevermore Academy, a private school in the Vermont town of Jericho for hideous outcasts, where they both attended high school. Wednesday struggles to connect with her classmates because of her icy, emotionless demeanor and defiant attitude, which leads her to clash with Larissa Weems, the school’s principal. She does learn, though, that she inherited her mother’s psychic prowess, which she uses to solve a local murder investigation.
Moreover, we think that the upcoming season of the series will pick up from where it was left off.
Wednesday Season 2: Release Date
It’s hard to estimate. However, if we look at the season 1 timetable, which showed that filming started in September 2021 and ended around March 2022 (adding in the roughly eight months it took for the program to air), we can see that the entire production cycle took place over the course of about a year and a month.
We might be looking at an early to mid-2024 release date if Netflix decides to renew Wednesday for a second season and follows the same production schedule!
