Why did Justin Timberlake postpone his show?

Justin Timberlake had to postpone his Forget Tomorrow World Tour show in Newark, New Jersey, on October 8 due to an injury. He shared the news with his fans via Instagram, expressing his disappointment and apologizing for not being able to perform. Timberlake wrote, “I’m so sorry to postpone tonight’s show. I have an injury that’s preventing me from performing. I’m so disappointed to not see you all, but I’m working to reschedule ASAP. I promise to make it up to you and give you the show y’all deserve,” accompanied by a broken heart emoji.

He expressed gratitude to his fans for their understanding and support, signing off as JT.

Despite this setback, Timberlake has been enjoying the tour, which began in April to promote his sixth studio album, Everything I Thought It Was. At his recent performance at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on October 7, he created a memorable moment by helping a fan propose to his girlfriend, Sarah, after spotting a sign in the audience that read, “May I propose to Sarah?” The crowd cheered as the proposal unfolded on stage.

Just a few days before the postponement, Timberlake celebrated his 12th wedding anniversary with Jessica Biel during his Montreal show, acknowledging her presence and joking with the audience to be nice to her because she was sharing him with them. Biel later shared the moment on her Instagram Story, expressing her joy in spending the day with Timberlake.

Timberlake is set to perform in Philadelphia on October 11 and in Washington D.C. on October 13.
