Where to watch swimming World Cup Shanghai 2024

Get ready for an exciting few weeks of swimming action as some of the world’s best swimmers gather for the World Aquatics World Cup! This year’s competition will feature three stops across Asia, kicking off this weekend in Shanghai.

Top Athletes competing in World Cup Shanghai 2024

Headlining the first event is Leon Marchand from France, who is already a star after his outstanding performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he snagged four individual gold medals and a relay bronze. The 22-year-old will be aiming for more medals at this event, which has a different format compared to the Olympics and other major competitions.

Unlike the standard 50-meter Olympic pools, this World Cup will be held in 25-meter pools, making the races shorter but just as thrilling. Swimmers will accumulate points over the three locations of the World Cup series.
