The first two seasons of “Warrior” were produced as a network original by Cinemax. Unfortunately for fans, Cinemax eventually chose to stop creating new TV shows after “Warrior” Season 2. As a result, it was discontinued solely due to a change in network strategy. However, in January 2021, the series was given new life when it was added to HBO Max’s streaming library, where it is still available today.
For those unversed, The first episode of the American martial arts criminal drama television series Warrior aired on Cinemax on April 5, 2019. Shannon Lee, Bruce Lee’s daughter, and filmmaker Justin Lin are the executive producers. It is based on Bruce Lee’s original concept and treatment. The showrunner is Jonathan Tropper, who is well known for creating the Cinemax original series Banshee.
The third season of the show was confirmed for April 2021, along with the news that it will be moving to HBO Max.

Warrior Season 3: What is the plotline?
The plot for the upcoming season is still hush hush as of now. We think it is safe to speculate that the next season would pick from where it was left off. However, we know that the show set during the Tong Wars in late 1870s San Francisco, follows Ah Sahm, a martial arts prodigy who emigrates from China in search of his sister, only to be sold to one of the most powerful tongs in Chinatown.
Warrior Season 3: Release Date
Warrior Season 3 is scheduled to premiere on Max on June 29, 2023.
