Trojan Steel Names John C. Pritchett President as Company Expands Joist and Deck Manufacturing
Former Ben E. Keith executive and Wild Acre Brewing founder brings decades of business leadership and manufacturing experience.
STEPHENVILLE, Texas, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Trojan Steel, LLC has named John C. Pritchett President as the company expands its manufacturing operations to take share in the national joist and deck market.
The appointment is the latest in a series of senior hires. Trojan has recruited steel industry veterans to build its manufacturing capabilities. For its President, it looked outside the industry.

Pritchett spent 12 years as General Manager of Ben E. Keith Beverages’ Fort Worth Division, growing sales from $125 million to $198 million. In 2014, he founded Wild Acre Brewing Company in Fort Worth, built it into a leading North Texas craft brewery, and sold it in 2022. Most recently, he served as President of Current Brands LLC, owner of Richard’s Rainwater, where he oversaw the acquisition of a manufacturing facility to bring production in-house. Pritchett holds a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin.

As President, Pritchett will oversee Trojan’s operations, manufacturing expansion, and the infrastructure required to support the company’s aggressive growth. Ormsby will continue to lead the company’s strategy and long-term direction.
