After considerable anticipation, ABC’s new summer primetime roster is led by The Wonder Years season 2.
Since a new episode hasn’t aired since May 2022, viewers of the show have missed following the adventures of the Williams family in this revival of the old series. With so much expectation, one can’t help but wonder what the next season of this coming-of-age tale has in store. The series opens up in the summer of 1969, which is an early tidbit we’ll provide here.

The Wonder Years Reboot Season 3: Plot
For all that we know, the show broadly follows a nostalgic look at the Williams family, Black middle-class residents of Montgomery, Alabama, through the point of view of imaginative 12-year-old Dean. . Moreover, the official synopsis of the second season reads, “Inspired by the beloved award-winning series of the same name, The Wonder Years is an original coming-of-age comedy that tells the story of the Williams family during the late 1960s, spotlighting the ups and downs of growing up in a Black middle-class family in Montgomery, Alabama, and the friendship, laughter and lessons along the way.”
