The Smurfs casts Nick Offerman, Xolo Maridueña, Kurt Russell and more alongside Rihanna

The voice cast for Paramount’s upcoming animated Smurfs film was revealed on Thursday at CinemaCon. Nick Offerman, Natasha Lyonne, JP Karliak, Daniel Levy, Amy Sedaris, Nick Kroll, James Corden, Octavia Spencer, Hannah Waddingham, Sandra Oh, Alex Winter, Billie Lourd and Xolo Maridueña, alongside Kurt Russell and John Goodman, appear to have joined the voice cast of the film, which also includes Rihanna.

The news that Rihanna had agreed to work on the project as a triple threat, voting as Smurfette, producing alongside Ryan Harris, Laurence “Jay” Brown, and Tyran “Ty-Ty” Smith and contributing to original music, came a year after she surprised CinemaCon attendees on the Colosseum stage inside Caesars Palace.

The movie, which is co-directed by Matt Landon and directed by Chris Miller (Puss in Boots), will be released on February 14, 2025. Also, Neil Patrick Harris played the role of the blue creatures in New York City in the 2011 film The Smurfs.
