The first look at the second season of the highly successful HBO Max series The Last of Us is now here. In the first set of images, Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey appear tense about what lies ahead. While Pedro’s character Joel wears a troubled face, Bella is shown carrying a gun and looking sad.

The major story of The Last of Us, an adaptation of the same-named video game, is about surviving in a crumbling city where people have turned into zombies due to a fungal infection.
On review site Rotten Tomatoes, the first season of The Last of Us now has an outstanding 96% rating.
In addition to Pascal and Ramsey, Gabriel Luna, Kaitlyn Dever, Young Mazino and Danny Ramirez are included in the season 2 cast. They’ll be seen in the popular series’ second installment.
Meanwhile, renowned Emmy-winning star Catherine O’Hara will make a surprise appearance this season. The second season of The Last of Us will be released sometime next year.
