Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun feud to be featured in new documentary

The ongoing controversy involving Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun has been in the news for a long time and is set to hit the screen. A two-part documentary series,  titled Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood, will explore the “gripping”  dispute between the pop star and the music industry mogul.

Variety reports that Warner Bros. Discovery UK and Ireland have commissioned a docuseries that will dive into Taylor’s conflict with music producer Scooter.

The two-part documentary, titled Taylor Swift vs. Scooter Braun: Bad Blood, will examine the public spat between the pop star and the industry mogul, delving into the $300 million dispute that arose when Braun acquired the rights to Swift’s first six albums in June 2019.

The two-hour episodes, which will debut in June, will include legal experts, journalists and others close to Taylor and Scooter. The project, which aims to portray both sides equally, will investigate the roles of gender dynamics, fanbase impact and artist rights while analyzing Scooter’s $300 million purchase of her music catalogue from Scott Borchetta of Big Machine Records in 2019.

The series will also investigate Swift’s claims that Scott blocked her attempts to acquire the rights to her first six albums. Additionally, viewers are expected to get a “comprehensive masterclass on music rights”.
