After accidentally swallowing a bug on stage at her most recent Eras show, Taylor Swift had to take a little break.

As part of her US Eras tour, the 33-year-old singer recently gave a performance at Soldier Field Stadium in Chicago, Illinois. She halted and began coughing on Sunday while speaking to the crowd between songs from her Evermore album. She then explained to her fans what occurred.

“I just swallowed a bug, I’m so sorry,” she said, in a viral video of the concert posted on Twitter. Coughing, she turned around and looked before turning to the concertgoers and saying: “I’m totally fine, it’s just stupid.”

Swift cleared her throat quickly and joked about the insect, saying, “Oh, delicious.” Oh, god.” She then asked the audience, “Is there any chance that none of you saw that?”

After repeating that she was “fine,” the singer stated that she was prepared to accidentally swallow a bug again during the show.

Several fans applauded Swift on Twitter for how she handled the bug issue on stage. One wrote, “This is like the most real I’ve ever seen her haha this is so funny.” Another user commented,  “That’s probably the hardest I’ve ever laughed thank you Taylor.”
