Sophie Turner is speaking out like never before about her recent divorce from musician Joe Jonas. The actress, who split from the Jonas Brothers let fans in on her life as a young mother of two and the events that have occurred after her marriage ended.
Sophie disclosed in an interview with British Vogue what she ‘hated’ about her marriage to the pop singer.
She stated that the thing that frequently irritated her was how the world saw her and her sisters-in-law, Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas. “There was a lot of attention on the three brothers, and the wives. Well, we were always called the wives, and I hated that. It was kind of this plus-one feeling,” she said.
But Turner made it clear that this perception wasn’t because of how Joe or his siblings made her feel. “And that’s nothing to do with him – in no way did he make me feel that – it was just that the perception of us was as the groupies in the band,” she explained.
When questioned whether she was single, the actress responded that she was “having fun dating.” While acknowledging that it was ‘strange’ to date again after marrying at 23, the actress stated, I am having fun dating. It’s very fun. I mean, it’s strange when you get married so young. It’s like you never really learn how to date. So it’s all very new to me.”
