After years of fan requests, Disney Channel is finally bringing back Wizards of Waverly Place! The new series, titled Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, will also be available for streaming on Disney Plus.

The pilot episode is penned by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas, who were part of the team behind the Raven’s Home reboot. Original cast members David Henrie and Selena Gomez are returning not just as actors but also as producers for this new show.
A trailer for Wizards Beyond Waverly Place was released on September 24, showcasing a mini reunion between Henrie and Gomez. The clip features Gomez bringing Janice LeAnn Brown’s character, Billie, to her brother Justin’s home for assistance, leading the siblings back into their magical adventures as they work to save the world once again.
Series Overview
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place focuses on an adult Justin Russo, who has decided to lead a normal life away from magic with his family—Giada, Roman, and Milo. However, his peaceful life is interrupted when his sister Alex brings Billie to him for help. Justin soon realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the new wizard-in-training while balancing his everyday responsibilities and protecting the future of the Wizard World.
