Saw X, directed by Kevin Greutert and written by Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger, is an upcoming American horror film. It is the tenth episode in the Saw film series, and it acts as a direct sequel to Saw as well as a prequel to Saw II. Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith, Synnve Macody Lund, Steven Brand, and Michael Beach feature in the film.
Filming took place from October 2022 to February 2023 in Mexico City and is set to be theatrically released in September, 2023, by Lionsgate Films.

Saw X: Plot
According to the reports, the official synopsis of the film reads, “John Kramer (Tobin Bell) is back. The most disturbing installment of the Saw franchise yet explores the untold chapter of Jigsaw’s most personal game. Set between the events of Saw I and II, a sick and desperate John travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer – only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable. Armed with a newfound purpose, the infamous serial killer returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through devious, deranged, and ingenious traps”.

The release date for Saw X is set for September 29, 2023. Due to this, The Creator by Gareth Edwards and PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, an animated children’s movie, will be the movie’s opening-weekend competition.
