Emily VanCamp, who is most known for playing a S.H.I.L.E.D. agent in the Marvel Universe, just welcomed a baby into her family. The good news was shared on social media by the actress, who got hitched to Josh Bowman.
The Canadian actress and her husband, who have been married for over ten years, recently welcomed a new member into their happy family.
On April 14, Emily VanCamp announced her daughter’s birth on Instagram. The post read, “Rio Rose, 3-12-2024 Welcome to the world, baby girl,” and included a black and white picture of their infant that gave a first glimpse of her.
The parent, who was cautious not to share a full image of her daughter, added in her post, “We love you so much.”
The comments section was flooded with love and wishes as the Revenge actress’s fans, friends and co-stars expressed their happiness.
VanCamp and Bowman already have a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Iris. This makes Rio Rose their second daughter.
They had their first child in August 2021, which was announced in an Instagram post. The photographs show Iris’ hands wrapped around the actress’ finger.
Between 2011 and 2015, Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman got to know one other on the set of Revenge. They’ve been married for five years, which VanCamp celebrated in another Instagram picture in December. The post reads, “5 years married, 12 together. What a beautiful ride it’s been. Love the life we’ve built, our wild adventures but mostly the little family we’ve created. Happy Anniversary my love. Can’t wait for all that is to come!!”
