The Capitol riot inquiry began on January 6th and has already made its way to reality television. Siggy Flicker, a former cast member of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, recently came under fire after her stepson was arrested on charges relating to his alleged role in the attack. Tyler Campanella was taken into custody in New York City on Wednesday and is allegedly facing five misdemeanour charges.

Court documents obtained by US Weekly reveal that Campanella is facing five charges: “Entering and exiting a restricted building, obstructing and interfering with the administration of laws and regulations, entering and exiting the gallery of Congress, engaging in disruptive conduct in the Capitol Building, and engaging in parades, demonstrating, or picketing in the Capitol Building.”

About five persons lost their lives in the attack on January 6, 2021, and more than 1300 people have been taken into custody.

FBI documents acquired by NBC reveal that Campanella was one of those who entered the Capitol during the attack. According to phone logs, Campanella was in various locations across the building, including Nancy Pelosi’s suite. NBC also examined other camera footage, which showed a guy matching Campanella’s description entering the room where Pelosi’s laptop was stolen. While the Bravo star was not among those who attacked the capitol, Siggy had previously shared multiple photographs of the incident online, claiming Tyler was present, according to the outlet.
