Ratched is an American psychological thriller streaming television series created by Evan Romansky, developed by Ryan Murphy, and starring Sarah Paulson as Nurse Mildred Ratched. A prequel to Milo Forman’s 1975 film One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (based on Ken Kesey’s 1962 novel of the same name), it follows Mildred Ratched’s life previous to the events depicted in the film, but in a different state (California as opposed to Oregon). Ratched was given a two-season order. The first season will launch on Netflix on September 18, 2020.

Here are further details that we know about Ratched Season 2.

Ratched Season 2: Plot

As of now, the plot of Season 2 is not yet confirmed. The series follows Mildred Ratched, an asylum nurse, is the protagonist of the show. Mildred travels in Northern California in 1947 to seek employment at a famous psychiatric hospital where new and unnerving studies on the human mind have begun. Mildred presents herself as the ideal image of a dedicated nurse on a clandestine mission, but the wheels are always turning, and as she begins to infiltrate the mental health care system and those within it, Mildred’s stylish exterior belies a growing darkness that has long been smoldering within, revealing that true monsters are made, not born.

We think the next season will pick up from where it was left off.
