The slasher series follows the lives of a group of teenage girls who reside in Millwood, Pennsylvania, after they start receiving ominous and cryptic messages from an unknown attacker known only as “A,” accusing them of a terrible act that their mothers committed that led to the death of a classmate 22 years earlier. The daughters are compelled to work together to piece together what occurred in 1999 and how their moms’ actions contributed to the disaster.
