Pregnant Gisele Bündchen concerns fans with cryptic post after warned by doctors of ‘too dangerous’ childbirth
Gisele Bündchen recently shared a life update on Instagram that has left fans concerned about her well-being, especially as she’s pregnant with her third child. The 44-year-old model posted a couple of photos of herself enjoying some quiet moments in the sun, holding a mug in one and reading a book in the other. While her words of inspiration in the caption resonated with many, the content of the book she was reading sparked worry among her followers. The book discusses the grief of losing a parent, with phrases like “a parent’s passing is a profound loss” and “help me in my own process of grief,” which fans found unsettling.
This emotional post comes just months after Bündchen lost her mother in January. In May, she opened up about the grief she still feels, sharing how difficult it is to accept her mother’s passing. She wrote at the time, “It’s still hard to say ‘mom’ without getting emotional. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t miss my Mom.”
Given that Bündchen is expecting her third child—her first with boyfriend Joaquim Valente—fans are understandably concerned about her emotional stress, which can be harmful to both the mother and the baby during pregnancy. Bündchen, who is already showing a visible baby bump, has been keeping a low profile but has recently been more open about her pregnancy, proudly showcasing her growing belly.
In terms of her birth plan, it is reported that she may not follow the same approach she did for her previous two children with ex-husband Tom Brady, who share son Benjamin and daughter Vivian. While Bündchen had a water birth with both of her older children, she was advised against it this time due to potential risks, and doctors recommended a C-section. Despite this, Bündchen had always dreamed of a natural, home birth, and in her 2018 book Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life, she shared how a midwife named Myra encouraged her to pursue a water birth, describing it as the “most soothing way for a newborn to enter the world.”
Bündchen has described the births of her two older children as “extraordinary experiences” that made her feel empowered, even likening herself to Kali, the Hindu goddess of creation and destruction. Though Bündchen and Valente have kept the details of their pregnancy private, including the baby’s gender, one fan commented on her latest photo, expressing their belief that this child will bring “even more light and joy” into her life.
