Get set for some action with Nicolas Cage reprising his classic role of Spider-Man Noir! The 60-year-old Oscar-winning actor will feature in the new live-action series “Noir,” which will be available on MGM+ and Amazon Prime Video.

The series is scheduled to debut on MGM+ before rolling out globally on Prime Video, and it will be the character’s first live-action portrayal.

Set in 1930s New York, ‘Noir’ follows an aging private investigator who must deal with his past as the city’s only superhero.

Nicolas Cage previously voiced Spider-Man Noir in the 2018 animated hit ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,’ but this is his first appearance in a live-action adaptation of the character.

Excited about the project, Vernon Sanders, head of television for Amazon MGM Studios, stated, ‘Expanding the Marvel universe with ‘Noir’ is a uniquely special opportunity and we are honored to bring this series to our global Prime Video customers.’ He hailed the actor as the ideal choice for the new superhero and applauded the production team’s dedication to authenticity.

The series is directed by a remarkable team that includes Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Amy Pascal, who are well-known for bringing iconic characters to life. With such creative brains behind the scenes, fans may expect a new twist on the Spider-Man universe.
