Migration is an upcoming American computer-animated adventure comedy film directed by Benjamin Renner, written by Mike White, and co-directed by Guylo Homsy. Kumail Nanjiani, Elizabeth Banks, Awkwafina, Keegan-Michael Key, David Mitchell, Carol Kane, Casper Jennings, Tresi Gazal, and Danny DeVito star in the picture, which is produced by Illumination and distributed by Universal Pictures. The plot follows a family of mallards on a trip of a lifetime as they attempt to migrate from New England to Jamaica through New York City.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Sing, and Migration are just a some of the movies that Illumination has assembled an all-star cast of famous voices for.
Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians) will play a pigeon from New York City, Danny DeVito (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) will play Uncle Dan, Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele) will play Delroy the parrot, David Mitchell (Peep Show) will play the head of the mallard farm, Carol Kane (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), and Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Dax and Pam, Mack and Pam’s kids, will have Caspar Jennings and Tresi Gazal as their voices.
Migration: Plot
The moving tale of family, adventure, and the value of pushing one’s comfort zone is called Migration. Following a family of ducks on their epic journey from New England to the Bahamas, which promises to be the ideal vacation, is the subject of the animated film. But the trip isn’t simply about taking a leisurely flight and enjoying the sunshine. Along the voyage, the ducks must overcome a number of challenges, such as thunderstorms, strange bird species, and other dangers that endanger their very existence.

Currently set for release on December 22, 2023, Migration will join a month-long slate of high-profile films from major studios.
