Met Gala 2024: Jessica Biel Makes Comeback On Green Carpet After 11 Years
After a decade, Jessica Biel returned to the Met Gala in grand style. After an 11-year hiatus, the actress walked the famous staircase while wearing a gorgeous candy pink gown decorated with hundreds of petals that kept up with the theme ‘The Garden of Time’.
Biel stated in a TikTok video before the big day that she soaked herself in 20 lbs of Epsom salt for 30 minutes as part of her beauty routine.
Biel previously appeared at the Met Gala in 2013, for the ‘Punk: Chaos to Couture’ themed event. She embraced the theme by wearing a black Giambattista Valli gown with matching pants and leather heels from the same designer. To complete the punk look, Biel wore a nose ring and Fred Leighton diamond earrings.
She attended the Met Gala in 2012 with her then-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, who is now her husband. The event theme was “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations.” Biel donned a soft pink dress with green embroidery, while Timberlake wore a timeless black tuxedo.
The couple is parents to two kids, Silas, 8, and Phineas, 3.
‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,’ the 2024 Met Gala theme, aligns with the Costume Institute’s forthcoming exhibit, which will feature over 250 pieces. 15 of these items are too delicate for everyday display or wear.
