M3GAN 2 Release Date Delayed By One Month; Everything We Know So Far
The release date of M3GAN 2, which stars Jenna Davis and is helmed by Gerard Johnstone, has been delayed. The next instalment in the M3GAN franchise was scheduled to be released on May 16, 2025. This next film is a sequel to Atomic Monster and Blumhouse’s campy thriller, which is officially in production and was originally set to hit theatres on January 17, 2025.
Despite being called chaotic or dumb, the first film made over $181 million worldwide on a $12 million budget and received positive reviews from critics for its mix of horror and comedy.
Now that M3GAN 2.0 has a release date set, maybe this is the last one after all these changes! The release date of this sequel has been pushed back by one month by Universal Studio. So now it is all set to be released on June 27, 2025. It’s unclear why this delay happened.

M3GAN, or Model 3 Generative Android, was confirmed by Universal after the release of the first film. Allison Williams, who will serve as producer, and Violet McGraw are set to return, with the story written by Akela Cooper. The majority of M3GAN 2.0’s story details are still unknown. Gerard Johnstone will also be back directing the movie.
