Lady Gaga faces backlash for performing despite COVID-19 diagnosis

Lady Gaga could lose some of her fans because of her decision to keep on performing at her concerts even after testing positive for the coronavirus.

The 35-year-old singer revealed the information during a live Q&A session on Thursday, May 23, in Los Angeles, just before she watched her HBO performance special, Gaga Chromatica Ball.

After hearing her confession, several individuals even stated she “should be in prison” for taking unnecessary risks that endanger her team and many others.

However, as per People, The Bloody Mary did not specify which concerts she performed following her diagnosis but confirmed that she did five.

In the viral video, the singer disclosed her diagnosis with her team, offering them the chance to back out from the performances if they were uncomfortable, but she still went live.

“I just didn’t want to let all the fans down.” She defended her action by claiming that “the fans were all putting themselves in harm’s way every day coming to the show.”

Many fans reacted to the video, One wrote, “She should be in prison.” Another said, “I don’t think this is something you can brag about…” “This is not a flex,” one wrote. One user said, “That is genuinely disgusting and un irresponsible…”
