The ‘Twilight’ star Kristen Stewart is all set to make another appearance in the vampire category, this time in the forthcoming thriller ‘Flesh of the Gods.’ Stewart, who charmed viewers as Bella Swan in the legendary ‘Twilight’ Saga over a decade ago, is about to embark on a new blood-curdling adventure with famous actor Oscar Isaac, according to E! News.

The film ‘Flesh of the Gods,’ helmed by Panos Cosmatos, takes audiences to the neon-lit streets of 1980s Los Angeles, where a married couple Raoul (played by Isaac) and Alex (played by Stewart) find a mystery lady, plunging them on a bizarre and nightmare journey.

The movie, according to director Cosmatos, is “between fantasy and nightmare,” and he promises viewers a thrilling and mesmerizing journey that will take them to the glittering heart of hell.

The movie has a solid crew behind it, including producers Betsy Koch and Adam McKay, who have worked on Oscar-nominated films such as ‘The Big Short’ and ‘Vice.’ The film is written by horror genre veteran Andrew Kevin Walker, whose credits include ‘Se7en’ and ‘Sleepy Hollow.’

Stewart, who has always defended her role in the ‘Twilight’ series, emphasized her enduring pride in the franchise, acknowledging its flaws but praising its sincerity and impact, according to E! News. “Anybody who wants to talk s–t about Twilight, I completely get it, but there’s something there that I’m endlessly, and to this day, f–king proud of,” the actress said.
