Kelly Rowland Finally Addresses Heated Incident at Cannes

Kelly Rowland’s argument with a security guard on the Cannes 2024 red carpet went viral. After leaving the Cannes Film Festival red carpet, the singer got into a heated argument with security staff, which was captured on video. Kelly said in an interview with the Associated Press that the security guard had treated her differently from other women who didn’t look like her.

While recalling the incident, the singer-actor stated,  “The woman knows what happened. I know what happened and I have a boundary, and I stand by those boundaries, and that is it.”

She also added, “And there were other women that attended that carpet who did not quite look like me, and they didn’t get scolded or pushed off or told to get off. I stood my ground, and she felt like she had to stand hers, but I stood my ground.”

Kelly was seen in a viral video exchanging words with security guards who held her arm while attempting to lead her into a screening. The singer seemed angry as she waved a finger at the security personnel.

The video received various responses on social media. While some fans backed her, others had different opinions. Many people pointed out that the singer tried to snap photos with fans and talk to the photographers.
