Kaley Cuoco reveals the animal she wants to add to her rescue ranch ext

Kaley Cuoco’s love for animals is widely known, and her passion for rescuing them runs deep! Over the years, she’s saved not just dogs and horses but also more unusual animals like goats, cows, turkeys, bunnies, and even piglets. But there’s one animal missing from her dream rescue list—a giraffe! In a recent interview with PEOPLE, the former Big Bang Theory star shared her wish to one day rescue a giraffe, saying, “I’m still dying to rescue a giraffe. We have not done that yet.”

Cuoco currently lives on a spacious 40-acre farm in Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles, with her fiancé Tom Pelphrey and their daughter Matilda. The farm acts as a sanctuary for her rescued animals, and it sounds like she’s nearly fulfilled her childhood dream of having every animal she ever wanted—except for the elusive giraffe.

Recently, she and Tom rescued two turkeys, which she had always dreamed of owning. “I have always wanted turkeys, and we were able to rescue two. I absolutely adore them. I am obsessed with them. They’re so friendly,” Cuoco gushed. In addition to the turkeys, the couple has also rescued some “amazing” cows in the past year, expanding their growing animal family.

Kaley describes her ranch as a place where all kinds of animals live together in harmony, and it seems like a real-life Noah’s Ark. “We have an endless amount of animals at the ranch, so I’m living out that childhood dream, and it’s pretty cool,” she said. Bringing a giraffe into the mix would complete her bucket list of animals to rescue. According to The Flight Attendant actress, the variety of animals at her farm all get along “incredible,” proving that different species can live together peacefully.

One area of the farm houses goats, pigs, chickens, and even mini horses under the same roof. “It’s really interesting,” Cuoco noted, squashing the misconception that different breeds can’t coexist. “We have totally proven that wrong.”

She further explained how the animals figure out their social dynamics once they arrive at the ranch. “It’s very sink or swim at our place,” she joked, describing how they quickly establish who’s in charge, who gets which spot, and who becomes friends with whom. In the end, they all manage to live together in harmony.

Outside of her animal rescue efforts, Cuoco has been busy with her acting career. After receiving multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for The Flight Attendant, she has also starred in Peacock’s series Based On a True Story, the romantic comedy Meet Cute, and lent her voice to the animated Harley Quinn series.
