DC fans have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of the upcoming Superman film, which is slated for release in 2019. James Gunn, co-CEO of DC Studios and the man behind the next Superman film, gave fans something to be happy about recently. At CinemaCon in Las Vegas, the filmmaker introduced the new logo for the Superman film. Even if the new “bright red and yellow” logo does not have a complete “S” of Superman, it still represents the superhero. Furthermore, Gunn stated that the “Summer of Superman” will begin at CinemaCon the following year.

Gunn stated, “I can’t wait to be there in Vegas with all of you next year as we kick off the summer of Superman. I also wanted to thank all of you for your efforts in making Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 a hit.”

Although the details of “Summer of Superman” are unknown, it might be a marketing campaign where fans can meet the stars of the movie at the prestigious convention.

Actor David Corenswet plays Superman/Clark Kent in the upcoming Superman movie. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s Rachel Brosnahan will portray Lois Lane. Skyler Gisondo will portray Jimmy Olsen.
