With more than half a billion hours watched and counting, Ginny & Georgia Season 2 is Netflix’s most popular show of the year. So what’s the hold-up with Netflix renewing Season 3? Despite all the evidence pointing to the obvious, the streaming giant has somehow yet to order a 3rd season of the charming, genre-hopping show about mother  Georgia (Brianne Howey) and her daughter Ginny (Antonia Gentry), some murders in the past and present, high school drama and one cafe owner (Raymond Ablack) who just must need a short break.

Ginny and Georgia Season 3 Potential Release Date

The 24-month wait between seasons 1 and 2 was a struggle, we have not going to mislead anybody. In any case, the gap will be shorter this time around, accepting obviously that Netflix chooses to renew Ginny and Georgia for season 3.

We’re quite certain about the show’s future and expect there are not any more pandemic-related postpones on the horizon, we expect that the new season could show up sooner than expected in 2024.
