Andor is very much a beginning, despite the fact that timeline-wise, it happens in the middle of Star Wars lore. Disney has finally found out how to create a fascinating and human narrative in a world full of aliens and fascist empires by reducing the scale and scope of storytelling down to Cassian Andor (a significant character in the Star Wars prequel movie Rogue One). Andor isn’t only the tale of one spy joining the resistance movement, but the story of how the rebellion formed.
Here’s everything you need to know about Andor Season 2.
Andor Season 2 Potential Release Date
Andor showrunner Tony Gilroy has stated that season 2 is expected to premiere in August 2024.
He discussed the new season at Star Wars Celebration 2023 in London, he said they begin filming in November. “We’re about halfway. We’re gonna shoot through August. We’re on exact schedule. [We’ll] finish in August, spend another year on post. I suppose we’ll come out the following August.”
