Hugh Jackman, who is preparing to reprise his role as Wolverine in the forthcoming movie Deadpool and Wolverine, will appear in another new movie. Jodie Comer, who played Villanelle in Killing Eve, will also appear in the forthcoming movie. The two will collaborate on “The Death of Robin Hood,” a darker take on the classic Robin Hood story, according to a PTI report. The film will be directed by Michael Sarnoski, who is most known for collaborating with Nicolas Cage on “Pig” and the upcoming “A Quiet Place: Day One.”

The film will follow the main character as he struggles with his past after a life of crime and murder, a battle-worn loner who finds himself seriously injured and in the hands of a mystery woman who gives him a chance for redemption.

Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett will produce for Lyrical Media under the Ryder Picture Company banner, in collaboration with Alexander Black. Jon Rosenberg and Natalie Sellers will executive produce alongside Rama Gottumukkala, Sarnoski and Jackman. “The Death of Robin Hood” will begin production in February 2025.

In the meantime, Hugh Jackman, who is set to appear in Wolverine and Deadpool, will star with Ryan Reynolds. Wolverine and Deadpool will reunite in the next film, following their appearances in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009).
