Hollywood gossip TikToker Kyle Marisa Roth’s cause of death, confirmed

TikToker Kyle Marisa Roth, known for her Hollywood gossip and discussions on important topics, tragically passed away in April 2024 at the age of 36. She had gained a following of over 280,000 on TikTok, where her vibrant personality and engaging content resonated with many.

Her sister, Lindsay, shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram about a week after Kyle’s passing. At that time, Lindsay mentioned that their family was still trying to come to terms with the loss and had yet to understand what had happened. She described Kyle as a remarkable person who brought joy and inspiration to many through her humor, intelligence, and advocacy.

The details surrounding Kyle’s death were revealed four months later, with a report from TMZ stating that the medical examiner determined she died of natural causes. The specific cause of death was identified as cardiac arrhythmia due to myocardial fibrosis. This condition occurs when scar tissue builds up in the heart, often as a result of a heart attack, but it can also develop under other circumstances. This scarring can hinder the heart’s ability to pump blood effectively, potentially leading to heart failure.

Kyle was an active content creator, often posting multiple times a day on TikTok. When her followers noticed she hadn’t updated her account for some time, they began to worry. Her last post was on April 7, prompting one follower to comment, “Kyle are you okay? Where are you? We miss you here.” Concerned about her well-being, Kyle’s parents requested a welfare check on her apartment, where she was sadly found deceased.

Kyle had faced various health challenges throughout her life. In February 2024, she shared an Instagram post displaying scars from different surgeries and injuries, explaining that she had undergone reconstructive shoulder surgery, multiple abdominal surgeries, and had experienced significant sports-related injuries. She candidly mentioned having “three missing internal organs” and chronicling her struggles with car accidents and concussions.

A survivor of colon cancer, Kyle was also an advocate for raising awareness about the disease. Her mother, Jacquie, recalled that Kyle had aspirations of becoming a doctor, inspired by the film Patch Adams, where Robin Williams plays a physician who uses humor to uplift his patients. Jacquie fondly described her daughter as someone who “loved fiercely” and emphasized how much they would miss that deep love in their lives.

Kyle’s unexpected death left her family in shock, and once they learned the cause, Lindsay expressed that it felt deeply “unsettling.” In response to comments questioning the heart issue, Lindsay shared that the family had even hired a private investigator to look into Kyle’s death but found no evidence of foul play.

To honor Kyle’s memory, the Roth family held a celebration of her life and a private memorial. In lieu of flowers, Lindsay encouraged fans and supporters to donate to several charities that were meaningful to Kyle, including the American Heart Association, Colorectal Cancer Alliance, Adopt a Whale, First Nations Development Institute, TBI Warrior Foundation, Lahaina Community Land Trust, and the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity.
