Inspired on Isaac Asimov’s well-known science fiction novels, Foundation transports readers to a distant future in which a massive Galactic Empire governs over many worlds. It’s about to start: a beautiful tale of prophesy, power, and peril. Foundation is a science fiction streaming television series developed by David S. Goyer and Josh Friedman for Apple TV+ that is largely based on Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series of stories. Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, and Leah Harvey lead the ensemble cast. The premiere of Foundation took place on September 24, 2021. The sitcom got renewed for a second season in October 2021, with the debut date set for July 14, 2023. Filming for the third season has commenced.

Foundation Season 3: Plot
The second season of Foundation launches into a bloody conflict that poses a danger to the Empire’s fundamental basis. As the plot develops, our devoted protagonists Hari, Gaal, and Salvor find themselves embarking on a perilous journey to solve the secrets of a hidden colony. Within this refuge, a race of breathtakingly powerful telepathic creatures called as Mentalics reside. Their very presence poses a significant threat to the fragile fabric of psychohistory, the science that dictates the fate of civilizations.

For all that we know, the filming for Season 3 has just begun. Hence, the series officials are yet to announce the release date of Season 3.
