Echo is an upcoming American television miniseries based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name created by Marion Dayre for the streaming service Disney+. It is supposed to be the eighth television series created by Marvel Studios in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the franchise’s films, and is a spin-off from the series Hawkeye (2021).

Echo: Cast

For all that we know, the network is yet to update about the cast of this upcoming series which is why we cannot provide you the exact list of the entire cast members. As per the reports, following is the potential cast of Echo.

  • Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez / Echo, A deaf Native American and the former commander of the Tracksuit Mafia who can perfectly copy another person’s movements
  • Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez, Maya’s deceased father and a former commander of the Tracksuit Mafia.
  • Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, A crime lord in New York who is Lopez’s adoptive uncle and the man responsible for her father’s death
  • Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, A blind lawyer from Hell’s Kitchen, New York who leads a double life as a masked vigilante, and is searching for a former ally.

Additionally, Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning, and Graham Greene have been cast in undisclosed starring roles.

Echo: Plot

Currently, the exact plotline of Echo is still under the wraps. However, as per the reports, in the wake of the events shown in Hawkeye (2021) in New York City, Maya Lopez travels back to her native Oklahoma, where she must confront her history, reestablish contact with her Native American heritage, and accept her family and community.

Echo: Release Date

On Disney+, Echo will be made available in its full starting in January 2024. Since the studio’s prior series were published on a weekly basis, this will be the first Marvel Studios production to release all of its episodes at once. Before Dayre revealed in December 2022 that the series will likely be published approximately a year from then, implying a late 2023 debut, it was initially set for release in mid-2023. Marvel Studios later confirmed that the premiere would take place on November 29, 2023.
