Dwayne Johnson alleged unprofessional behavior causes Red One producers $50 million; Report
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, an actor and wrestler, is in new trouble. The Wrap has shared an expose on the actor, revealing in great detail his unprofessional behaviour on the sets of Red One, a forthcoming, significantly delayed movie at Amazon MGM.
According to the report, Dwayne would frequently arrive at the film’s sets seven or eight hours late, which would delay production and frequently force the team to “shoot around him.” An insider said to the publisher, “The only thing Dwayne was consistent at was being chronically late.” Insiders claim that Red One’s production costs increased by “at least $50 million” as a result of his delay. Right now, the production costs amount to $250 million.
Nonetheless, studio sources claim that Dwayne never arrived at a shoot more than an hour late. They added that the production house had approved a budget of $250 million.
According to the report, the actor had a habit of arriving late for shooting his Apple TV program Ballers. “He was regularly three to four hours late to set. Keeping 100+ crew members waiting for no reason,” a Ballers production assistant said to The Wrap.
It was also disclosed that the actor had an odd habit of peeing in water bottles. While the actor has himself opened up about peeing in bottles during his workout, the new report mentions that Dwayne would have his PA dispose of the bottles in earlier films. However, the production crew on Red One denied that anything occurred on the film’s sets.
