‘Deadpool and Wolverine’: Ryan Reynolds teases fans with new teaser, poster ahead of trailer release

Ryan Reynolds’ seven-year-old dream of seeing Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine return on the saddle has at last come true.

On April 21, the Deadpool actor dropped a preview of what’s to come next – a good introduction to him messing up the timeline to such a degree that it ends up double down on straightening it out. Wade Wilson, previously seen vividly in an extended Deadpool 2 end-credits scene, is ready to travel back in time to correct countless wrongs.

Reynolds also shared a new poster for his movie with Hugh Jackman, along with a teaser that sets the tone for the full trailer that will be released on Monday, April 22. . Both of these announcements are filled with nostalgic flashbacks to Jackman’s 2017 Logan film, in which he supposedly hung up the claws, leaving “a lot of people very sad.”

His monologue is a replay of his end-credits delivery from Deadpool 2, where he expressed his desire for this dream to finally come true. Repeating those same lines, Ryan makes several allusions to the Logan film, including drawing similarities with the film’s poster, in which Dafne Keen’s hand is replaced with his own, in Deadpool’s most erotic signature style. Sharing the poster, the actor wrote, “Hugh got his nails done for this.”
