The Courtney Love haters are out there and going crazy. Following her 2021 dispute with Olivia Rodrigo, the former member of Hole returned to her string of slash-and-bur against several modern-day pop divas, such as Madonna, Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Lana Del Rey.

The American singer-songwriter not only named-dropped the chart-topping stars of the music industry but also made jabs at each of them in an interview with UK’s The Standard.

The People vs. Larry Flynt actress shattered Taylor Swift’s legacy.  Finding her a bore, Courtney stated, “Taylor is not important. She might be a safe space for girls, and she’s probably the Madonna of now, but she’s not interesting as an artist.”

The controversial RuPaul’s Drag Race guest star then took digs at Lana Del Rey. Courtney, who had also fallen out of love with the Summertime Sadness singer, questioned why she should take “seven years off.”

“I haven’t liked Lana since she covered a John Denver song,” she stated about Del Rey. The Hole frontwoman was sweet on Rey’s songs until Take Me Home, Country Roads, but she eventually dropped her from her playlist as well.

Love then moved on to her next target and addressed her outright hatred for Madonna. She said, “I don’t like her and she doesn’t like me. I loved Desperately Seeking Susan, but for the city of New York as much as her.”

The grunge icon revealed her current affinity for Debbie Harry, Patti Smith, Nina Simone and Billie Holiday, but it’s unclear if this will last in the long run—especially after she talked about Beyonce’s latest genre switch-up. She said, “I like the idea of Beyonce doing a country record because it’s about Black women going into spaces where previously only white women have been allowed, not that I like it much.”
