After five years of marriage, the couple, who were well-known for their love affair in the hip-hop world, announced their split. Chance the Rapper and his spouse, Kirsten Corley, officially announced their divorce on social media in a joint statement.

The couple, who were married in 2019, said in the statement that they made the decision “amicably” and that they are both divorcing after a brief period of separation.

“After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways. We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together,” Chance and Corley wrote.

Chance and Corley have decided to raise their two kids, Kensli, 7, and Marli, 4, together.

The statement further reads, “God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together. We kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate this transition. Thank you.”

Nearly a year has passed since Chance was seen dancing “inappropriately” with a different lady at Carnival 2023 in Jamaica when news of their divorce came to light.

In the video, the 30-year-old “No Brainer” emcee, dressed in traditional Carnival attire, is seen grabbing 30-year-old model Mela Millz before leaning back and slapping her butt.
