Billy Zane, the actor who played the Mummy, is gearing up for his own McConaissance. Billy has delighted fans with first-look photos from the forthcoming Marlon Brando movie, Waltzing with Brando. Marlon Brando was one of Hollywood’s most iconic performers, having played the lead in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather, among other films.
Billy’s recent Instagram photographs, as well as those uploaded by a few Hollywood fan pages, show him as Brando in his later days. The similarities are uncanny. Billy appears to have nailed the character quite well, given his similar hairline and facial expressions.
Many fans reacted to this post. One wrote, “I truly hope it’s a good film but wooooow this is so uncanny, I can’t get over it.” “Neither of these pictures is actually brando?? holy s***,” another commented. “See, Bradley Cooper, this is how you are supposed to do a biopic,” said another person.
The official film synopsis reads, “Movie star Marlon Brando recruits a Los Angeles architect to build the world’s first ecologically perfect retreat on a small, uninhabitable island in Tahiti.” The moive is based on the book Waltzing with Brando: Planning a Paradise in Tahiti, written by architect Bernard Judge.
