‘Beyond honoured’: Post Malone on collaborating with Taylor Swift in Fortnight

The American rapper-singer Post Malone expressed gratitude to Taylor Swift for collaborating with him on the song “Fortnight,” which is part of her newly released 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”

“It’s once in a lifetime that someone like @taylorswift comes into this world,” said Malone on his Instagram account.

He further added, “I am floored by your heart and your mind, and I am beyond honored to have been asked to help you with your journey I love you so much. Thank you Tay.”

Malone not only sang the song, but also featured in the music video as Swift’s ex-lover, portraying a tortured tragic hero.

With its emotional plot and glimpses of Swift in distress and Malone trying to save her, the video has  captivated fans.

Swift commended Malone’s work, pointing out that his version perfectly captured the spirit of the song and the themes of the album.

Fans were pleasantly surprised when actors Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles, known for their performances in the legendary film ‘Dead Poets Society,’ made cameo appearances in the ‘Fortnight’ music video. Their surprise appearance as scientists doing tests on Swift gave an extra layer of excitement to the visual story.

After releasing ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ Swift stunned fans with a “double album” extension titled ‘The Anthology,’ which included 15 extra songs.
