A new American animated movie titled Babylon 5: The Road Home will be released by Warner Bros. Animation and distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. J. Michael Straczynski, who created the original Babylon 5 franchise, wrote the screenplay for the movie, which was directed by Matt Peters. The movie is the seventh feature in the Babylon 5 series and the first animated one. It is also the second direct-to-video episode (the first was the miniseries Babylon 5: The Lost Tales). It employs CGI animation. Release day for the movie is set for August 15, 2023.
