Are Rihanna and ASAP Rocky’s sons more like their mom or dad?

A$AP Rocky recently opened up about the transformative experience of fatherhood in an interview with W Magazine on October 8. The rapper, who shares two sons with his longtime partner, Rihanna, talked about how his life has changed since becoming a dad and shared some fun insights about his boys, RZA, who is 2, and Riot Rose, who is 14 months old.

In the interview, Rocky revealed that becoming a father has offered him a new perspective on life. He emphasized how it has altered his worldview in ways he never expected. However, he also acknowledged the challenges of balancing his busy career with parenting. He joked about not having made it to the gym in weeks, explaining that by the time he gets home, his kids are already tucked in bed. Despite the challenges, he believes the sacrifices he makes for his family are absolutely worth it.

When it comes to parenting duties, Rocky mentioned that he and Rihanna both bring their own strengths to the table. He noted, “I think we both have our niches, our things that we do that we’re good at.” He also took a moment to praise Rihanna as a mother, humorously asserting that he could never be as great a mother as she is, just as she could never be the great dad he believes himself to be.

As for their sons’ personalities, Rocky described RZA as being more like him, saying, “RZA is going to keep to himself. He’s an introvert… he’s my twin.” He also playfully noted that while RZA resembles him in many ways, he did inherit his mother’s forehead, adding, “I love my boy’s big forehead! I loved it on his mother. But he got everything else from me.”

On the other hand, Rocky sees more of Rihanna in their younger son, Riot Rose, describing him as an extrovert, just like his superstar mom. He explained how Riot’s outgoing nature stands in contrast to RZA’s more reserved demeanor.

Despite their different personalities, Rocky is already seeing a close bond forming between his boys. He remarked, “Riot looks up to RZA,” and mentioned how RZA is slowly warming up to his younger brother. “I think RZA’s warming up to Riot,” he said, highlighting their growing sibling relationship.

Rocky expressed confidence that, as they grow older, the boys will become even closer. He takes pride in watching them develop their unique characteristics while also cherishing the traits that remind him of both himself and Rihanna.
