Friends’ Courteney Cox ‘talks’ to Matthew Perry after his death

Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox’s co-star in Friends, is on her. It was the 20th anniversary of Friends’ series finale.

Courteney revealed in a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning how she continues to feel Matthew Perry’s presence even after his demise. At the age of 54, Matthew passed away at his residence in Los Angeles on October 28, 2023. The most famous role of Matthew was that of Chandler Bing on Friends.

Courteney said in the interview, “I think he’s probably one of the funniest human beings in the world. You know, he’s just so funny. He is genuinely a huge heart, obviously struggled. I’m so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so many years. He visits me a lot, if we believe in that… I talk to my mom, my dad, Matthew – I feel like there are a lotta people that are, I think, that guide us. I do sense, yeah, I sense Matthew’s around for sure.”

The actress added, “I’m just grateful that I had that opportunity to work with such wonderful people, and to live the life that I have now. That was my family. I mean, we went through everything. Those ten years were everything – they’re my family.”
