Chris Hemsworth Shares How Working With Wife Elsa Pataky Feels Like A ‘Date Night’

George Miller’s ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’ had its global debut at the renowned Cannes Film Festival. During the film’s UK premiere, star Chris Hemsworth said that he sometimes uses work as an excuse to work with his spouse Elsa Pataky, according to People.

Anya Taylor-Joy plays the main role of Imperator Furiosa in the movie, which also stars Chris Hemsworth and Tom Burke.

The actor said, “It’s just like date night for us. You know, we got three kids and we have to go to work to get away from them and then they follow us.”

Hemsworth stated that having the opportunity to act together meant “everything” to him. “I love it. I love spending time with her…especially in a creative space,” he added.

He explained that acting together is vital for their relationship and the family as a whole. “You get sort of parent roles and, you know, you desperately try and find moments with the two of you on a film set. I’ll take it, I’ll take what I can,” he stated.

In the new Mad Max movie, Hemsworth portrays Dr. Dementus, the head of the Biker Horde, and Pataky, the Vulvalini General.  The couple has two children: 10-year-old twin boys Sasha and Tristan, and 12-year-old daughter India Rose.
