Tom Holland’s ‘Romeo & Juliet’ first preview halted due to ‘production difficulties’

Romeo & Juliet, starring Spider-Man’s Tom Holland and Francesca Amewudah-Rivers, was set to start this Saturday at London’s Duke of York’s Theatre. However, those who purchased tickets received a notification stating that the concert could not take place yet.

They stated that they need more time to get everything ready. Insiders said they’ve been working hard this week to solve things.

According to Deadline, the production crew concluded on Thursday that the show would have to stop on Saturday. According to Deadline, the concert was cancelled “due to the technical aspects of the production needing further preparation, the performance of Romeo & Juliet on Saturday, 11 May 2024 can not go ahead as planned.”

They don’t yet know if the show will take place on Monday or Tuesday. For the time being, the official first night is set for May 23.

People who purchased tickets for tonight were given a special link to change them to another day; however, the tickets had “limited availability.” But there may not be many seats remaining. They may need to add extra days to fit everyone, as the show was already sold out.
