Jennifer Lopez stuns in sheer silver gown at 2024 Met Gala

Co-chair of fashion’s biggest night, Jennifer Lopez, looked as bold as ever in her Met Gala outfits at Monday’s gala, which took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Lopez walked onto the carpet in a Custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown designed by Daniel Roseberry, arriving early as is expected for a co-chair of the night.

The dress code for this year’s gala is “The Garden of Time.” The A-lister often stuck to the theme of the outfit. The sheath dress, adorned with warm silver pearls and rhinestones, has 2.5 million silver foil bugles. Lopez told Vogue on the red carpet that the style was designed to resemble butterfly wings.

The singer completed her look with a Tiffany & Co. necklace, earrings and bracelet, as well as a platinum and yellow gold diamond ring and a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock ring. She finished it with a Tyler Ellis champagne clutch.

The multihyphenate co-chaired this year’s event, with Zendaya, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth. Lopez’s official responsibilities at fashion’s biggest night appear to be a no-brainer, given that the star has already attended 13 times before Monday’s event.
