‘Kraven the Hunter’ pushed to December 2024

Marvel fans, it looks like Kraven the Hunter will take a little longer to arrive. The Hollywood production studio Sony Pictures has revealed that Aaron Taylor-Johnson is going to debut in US theatres on December 13, 2024. A PTI report states that the movie’s original release date was August 30.

The film, helmed by JC Chandor, is about one of Spider-Man’s oldest foes. “Kraven the Hunter” stars Taylor-Johnson as the main character, along with Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott and Russell Crowe. The creators had earlier dropped the trailer, which received good feedback for the stunts and acting skills of the cast.

Meanwhile, Sony had previously scheduled its new “Karate Kid” film for December 13, but it will now be released on May 30 in American theatres, following the sixth and final season of “Cobra Kai” on Netflix.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is most recognized for his performance as the titular character in the 2010 film Kick-Ass. He rose to international fame after portraying the Marvel character Pietro Maximoff in the film Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Among his other well-known works are “The Wall, The King’s Man, Bullet Train, The Fall Guy, The Apocalypse, Albert Nobbs, The Thief Lord, The Greatest, Shanghai Knights and Nocturnal Animals.”
