Zendaya’s Challengers Salary Revealed; Here’s How Much Actress And Producer Reportedly Earned

Zendaya is one of the most popular actors in Hollywood today. Her salary for the forthcoming movie Challengers proves this. Zendaya received $10 million to feature in and produce the forthcoming tennis-themed film Challengers, as reported by Variety.

According to another Variety report, the movie is expected to earn between $12 million and $15 million during its first weekend of release in North America. The steamy, R-rated movie was originally set to premiere at the Venice Film Festival in 2023, but it was released last year.

But because Zendaya and her co-stars Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor couldn’t promote the film due to the actors’ strike, the studio, Amazon MGM, decided to postpone its release until 2024. The movie will now be available on April 26.

Everything about Challengers

As the lead role in the film, Zendaya, 27, portrays Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy caught in a romantic triangle with her husband Art Donaldson (Mike Faist) and ex-partner Patrick Zweig (Josh O’Connor).

Zendaya is co-producing Challengers alongside Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor and Guadagnino, in addition to performing the main role.

The actress spoke to CNN about her experience being a producer. She said, “The more time I spend in front of the camera, the more I enjoy being behind it.” She added, “Being surrounded by Luca, it helped me gain confidence. It was a beautiful place to learn and to really feel like I had a voice and a seat at the table.”
