Nearly five years have passed since the eighth season of 90 Day Fiancé premiered, and many former cast members have kept a low profile since their reality TV days. While some, like Jovi and Yara, have built careers in reality television, others, such as Rebecca Parrott, have stepped back from the spotlight.
Rebecca’s relationship with Zied Hakimi, who is 22 years younger and from Tunisia, faced numerous challenges even before their engagement. Her children were not supportive, and she was still legally married to her estranged husband at the time, putting a strain on their relationship. Despite these hurdles, they married in 2020.
In a 2022 follow-up on 90 Day Diaries, Rebecca revealed that finances were a concern as they planned a trip to Zied’s home country. She expressed anxiety that his visit with family might lead to homesickness and prevent him from returning to the U.S. with her.
However, according to her Instagram, those fears have not materialized. As of October 2024, Rebecca is happily married to Zied. Although she doesn’t post frequently, she shares occasional glimpses of their date nights and adventures, preferring to keep their lives private.
Rebecca also leverages her reality TV fame for sponsorship deals, often partnering with brands like Temu for promotional posts and participating in events, including meet-and-greets with 90 Day Fiancé fans.
In a more serious turn, Rebecca is currently seeking support through a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for legal fees in a custody battle for her grandson. She shared that her family is fighting to secure a safer living situation for him, emphasizing the urgency of their situation in the fundraiser description.
As of October 10, Rebecca’s campaign has reached a third of its goal, and she has pinned the fundraiser to her Instagram account to encourage her followers to contribute.
