A ‘Dancing With the Stars’ hunk did the last thing he expected to do for Disney Night, and no one is complaining

Stephen Nedoroscik, an Olympian and the first male gymnast to compete on Dancing With the Stars, has quickly become a fan favorite in the show’s 33rd season. His recent performance during “Disney Night” might have just taken his popularity to new heights.

In case you missed it, Stephen and his dance partner, Rylee Arnold, wowed the audience dressed as Hercules and Megara. They showcased their strength with a Charleston dance to “A Star Is Born,” a track from Disney’s Hercules. Although they received a modest score of 24—getting an eight from each of the judges: Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli—their costumes truly stole the spotlight.

Rylee shared a TikTok video just a day before their performance, revealing that Stephen got a spray tan to enhance his Hercules look. Fans found this both hilarious and charming, with comments like, “He is so pure! And the muscles are muscling!” and “Look at our beautiful bronzed boy!! 🥰”

After their dance, which nearly led to their elimination, Stephen and Rylee chatted with Good Morning America. When asked about his spray tan experience, Stephen explained, “They were like, ‘You’re playing Hercules. We need to tan you up, so let’s do it.’ I’m down for anything really. I personally wouldn’t have gotten one on my own, but for the show, I have to own the character, right?” He mentioned that the spray tan smelled nice and made him look good, which we can all agree on!

Rylee chimed in, saying she supported Stephen during the tanning process and found it fun. She teased, “I think he’s into the spray tans. I wouldn’t be surprised if we got another one this season,” making both of them laugh.

As for whether Stephen and Rylee will take home the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, fans will have to keep tuning in to Dancing With the Stars each Tuesday on ABC or Disney Plus to find out. With “Halloween Night” approaching, things are sure to get exciting, and who knows—maybe we’ll see Stephen as a bronzed Dracula next!
